Natural Plasters
Wall, floor, furniture finishes of earth, lime, natural paints...Mano de Barro offers expertise in selection and application of healthy home options for all areas of the home, including exteriors, wet rooms, artistic accent walls.
I work with ecological mortars that come prepared and am also available to take the earth from around your building and transform it into exquisite wall coverings. What are you dreaming of? Together we will Bring the Earth Inside.
Construction
Mano de Barro is available to advise on best options and practices before you start building to help you create the highest performing, healthiest home you can build.
I am also available to train novice builders and home owners who want to build for themselves. Additionally, if you have recently built or remodeled a home with conventional materials (cement, sheetrock, etc.)
Mano de Barro can help you Bring the Earth Inside by applying natural finishes over conventional materials. I partner with other trusted builders of integrity to be able to offer you my unique services on projects big or small.
Workshops
Do you have a project in mind and want to involve your community in its execution? Mano de Barro offers workshop facilitation to encourage community building, the spread of ideas, and cost offsetting.
Always dreamed of a wood fired pizza oven in your backyard? We can lead you and your friends and family in building one of earth! A small, whimsical playhouse for your kids? With the right guidance you can do that with them!
